A significant part of any project is to conduct adequate research either locally, nationally or globally to obtain a basis for the aims of the project. This research gives the entire group and the audience a sense of the sensitivity of the situation in hand and the intensity of the circumstances being considered in the project. This research has not only opened our eyes to the current problems regarding mental health in the society but has immensely altered our sense of direction in this project.

Our Survey:
Background of the Survey and Our Aims With Regards to it
This survey was initiated to aid us in collecting research data for our project regarding different aspects of Mental Health by taking into consideration diverse perceptions of our target audience. We considered initiating this survey in a University to keep our target age from 19-25 years. Thus this research was aimed at young adults and their perspectives about mental health issues specifically in a developing country such as Pakistan.
Our aims with regards to the survey initially was that it was going to be joyful and an all-hands-on-deck kind of activity and it surely was. We were aiming at gaining professional survey results and providing research data for this topic as it is rarely discussed or researched upon by the national authorities of Pakistan. However our aim was further strengthened when we saw the willingness of people with regards to our project and the encouragement for our research and project and their incessant efforts to further its cause. Thus these survey results form a considerable basis for our project aims and is the edifice for our goals with this project.
Survey Method
Target Audience: Young adults aged 19-25 years
Contact Method: Via phone with the University faculty
Total Sample Size: 100 students
Description: After a brief phone call with the university faculty and a talk with one of the professors over there, Ms. Shabana Naveed, we were able to finalize a day when we would be allowed to conduct the survey. Thus on the 31st of December 2019 we conducted our survey with the incessant guidance of Ms. Shabana Naveed and a few other respected professors which gave us their precious time from their lectures to quickly conduct the surveys. Thus we were able to conduct the survey in at least 3 different classes each with an average of 30 students. Thus the total sample size of the survey research data was 100 students.

Conclusion
Firstly, we would like to thank everyone involved in this act, from the cooperative faculty of the University of Central Punjab as well as the honorable professors who aided us in the initiation and completion of these surveys. This helps regain our trust in the furtherance of this topic and the cooperation of the society.
Conducting the entire survey was immensely interesting and especially as we sat down compiling the results, the bigger picture of the entire situation became even clearer to us as our faces showed our expressions of surprise as we were shocked with the results obtained. In fact these results helped us gain local and national perspectives on the matter in hand and helped us to form a basis for this project and further strengthened our argument and aim for this project.
